Built
by Pullman Standard as a Tour Lux Sleeper for the Olympian Hiawatha
in 1947.
Rooms have been removed and interior nicely transformed into a
lounge / table car
Car has 110 and 220AC. new air-conditioner wired to accept shore
power only Could be adapted for trainline power.
This car also has Nystrom trucks, good wheels and great body.
The car is located in Montevideo, MN.
Built
in 1947 by the Milwaukee Road in the Milwaukee Wisconsin Shops.
The car operated system wide on all of the company's mainline
passenger trains.
The car was completely restored including body work, Imron paint
and electrical upgrade.
The interior was upgraded so that it could be utilized as a dance
hall car, party car or gift shop.
